Flood Zone Application

The Flood Zone Application was created by the Regional Flood Control District to answer various questions about flood zones and facilities in Clark County. It allows you to quickly locate a feature, such as a parcel or a LOMR, then display information about that feature. It also displays the area around a feature so that you can quickly determine the proximity of features to one another, such as a flood zone to a parcel of land.

This help file describes each function that you can perform in the Flood Zone Application. It discusses the main screen, how to identify features on the map, what the different views are used for, how to query the application to quickly find features on the map, and ends with a discussion of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). To begin, select an item in the table of contents on the left. If you want to answer a question quickly, take a look at FAQs at the bottom of the table of contents.
