Navigation - Print Function

The Print Function tool is used to print the map currently displayed. When you select the Print Function tool, the map title, instructions for printing the map, and a Create Map button appear in the Results area, beneath the map.

To print the map, change the text in the Map Title text box to whatever you would like to have appear on the printout, then click the Create Map button. When you click the Create Map button, a Retrieving Map notice appears and another browser window will be appear containing the map, a legend, and flood zone information contact numbers. If you are satisfied with the appearance of the map, use the Print function in your browser (this is usually done by selecting File from the menu, then selecting Print) to print the map.

NOTE: It is important to never click on any of the other navigational tools, any of the buttons in the Identification, Views, or Query areas, or anywhere on the map while the Retrieving Map notice is displayed. Doing so may cause the Flood Zone Application to fail requiring you to exit your browser and restart the application.
