The Pan tool is used to move the map around on the screen to view areas outside of the currently visible region. When
you select the Pan tool and place the mouse over the map, the mouse cursor changes to a hand, like this:
To pan around the map, click the left mouse button anywhere on the map and move the mouse in the direction in which you want the
map to move. When you release the mouse button, or when the mouse leaves the map image, a Retrieving Map notice will appear
and the map will reload and display the area to which you panned.
NOTE: It is important to never click on any of the other navigational tools, any of the buttons in the Identification, Views, or Query areas, or anywhere
on the map while the Retrieving Map notice is displayed. Doing so may cause the Flood Zone Application to fail requiring you to exit your browser and restart
the application.
