The Active Layer Zoom tool is used to quickly take you to the largest viewable area for the active map layer. When you select the Active Layer Zoom tool, a Retrieving Map notice will appear and the map will zoom to the dimensions of the currently active layer.
NOTE: It is important to never click on any of the other navigational tools, any of the buttons in the Identification, Views, or Query areas, or anywhere on the map while the Retrieving Map notice is displayed. Doing so may cause the Flood Zone Application to fail requiring you to exit your browser and restart the application.
