Floodzone Identification is used to identify a specific floodzone on the map. To identify a floodzone, click on the Floodzone Identification button, then click on the floodzone you want to identify. Information about the floodzone will appear in the Results area.

If you receive an error message stating, "The Active Layer 100 Year Floodzones is not visible due to scale and features cannot be selected.", the map is currently not displaying floodzones. To identify a floodzone in this case, use the Zoom In tool until floodzones appear on the map.

If the floodzone button does not appear in the Identification area, the floodzone layer is not currently being displayed. To display the floodzone layer, change the View to allow more layers to display.
