Easement Identification is used to identify a specific easement on the map. To identify an easement, click on the Easement Identification button, then click on the easement you want to identify. Information about the easement will appear in the Results area.

If you receive an error message stating, "The Active Layer EASEMENTS is not visible due to scale and features cannot be selected.", the map is currently not displaying the easement layer. To identify an easement in this case, use the Zoom In tool until the easement appears on the map.

If the Easement button does not appear in the Identification area, the easement layer is not currently being displayed. To display the easement layer, change the View to allow more layers to display.
