City Identification is used to identify a specific city on the map. To identify a city, click on the City Identification button, then click on the area for which you want to identify the city. Information about the city will appear in the Results area. If you receive an error message stating, "The Active Layer Corporate Boundaries is not visible due to scale and features cannot be selected.", the map is currently not displaying city boundaries. To identify a city in this case, use the Zoom Out tool until the city divisions (multi-colored areas) appear on the map. If the City button does not appear in the Identification area, the city layer is not currently being displayed. To display the city layer, change the View to allow more layers to display. |
