Bridge Identification is used to identify a specific bridge on the map. To identify a bridge, click on the Bridge Identification button, then click on the bridge you want to identify. Information about the bridge will appear in the Results area.

If you receive an error message stating, "The Active Layer Bridges is not visible due to scale and features cannot be selected.", the map is currently not displaying the bridge layer. To identify a bridge in this case, use the Zoom In tool until the bridge appears on the map.

If the Bridge button does not appear in the Identification area, the bridge layer is not currently being displayed. To display the bridge layer, change the View to allow more layers to display.
