Basin Identification is used to identify a specific basin on the map. To identify a basin, click on the Basin Identification button, then click on the basin you want to identify. Information about the basin will appear in the Results area.

If you receive an error message stating, "The Active Layer Basins is not visible due to scale and features cannot be selected.", the map is currently not displaying the basin layer. To identify a basin in this case, use the Zoom In tool until the basin appears on the map.

If the Basin button does not appear in the Identification area, the basin layer is not currently being displayed. To display the basin layer, change the View to allow more layers to display.
